• Saturday morning at around 6:30am, Jeff and I were in our backyard doing yard work.  We were oblivious to what was going on two blocks away from our house.

  We smelled no smoke, heard no sirens, and had no idea that the little pizza place in our town was burning down!

  

  

  

  

  There were a couple of branches on the rose bushes that survived.

  

  

  Which was amazing, because this was the back of the garage and landscaping of the people who live behind the restaurant.

  

  The flowers were all burned, and most of the leaves.  Look at how their siding just melted. 

  I still can’t believe that we missed the building burning, it was a big fire.  You can almost see the building from our backyard!
