  • …..time for leftovers.

    It’s over now. the dinner. the dessert. the visiting.
    We had fun. I have so much to be thankful for. so very, very much.

     
    Now it’s onto Christmas trees. It’s A Wonderful Life!!!! sugar cookies. present wrapping.
    music..oh! Oh! let the Christmas music begin.

  • Glad you had a good Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to moving into the celebration of Christmas, too.  I caught my wife singing Christmas carols today already,  I like the pictures of the kids playing in front of the woodstove.  Sort of has a 20′s feel to it.  Cool woodstove, too!  There’s nothing like coming inside from the cold to warm up in front of the intense heat from a wood fire.  We cheat a little at our house with a pellet stove so we don’t have all the work and mess that goes with the real deal.  Hope you all have an excellent Christmas season.

  • Love the rest and thankfulness the day after. YUM, your turkey looks good.  We had Thanksgiving here and our David was able to eat   My hubby made pies, double yay!  Yes, on to Christmas.  I already know that I will love this one as my two grandsons will be here.  We started some Christmas music yesterday.

  • I must say I enjoy the visiting and kid activities throughout the season too. What I don’t enjoy is trying t squeeze in time to actually do gift shopping! That’s a tough one!
