We Broke a Record.
Should you need to give a bath at 2am…
Know that the Blow Dryer sounds much louder in the middle of the night.I didn’t want to have a friend I haven’t seen in 15 years over tomorrow anyway. (Not true!)
I am so thankful for bleach and good smelling cleaners like Mrs. Meyers.Real flu. check. colds. check. sore throats. check. and now stomach flu. check, check.
Yep…I think our household has every sickness the media has spoken of this season covered.
We also broke the record in our house for the number of times one can throw up in a single morning.
18. That’s a lot in my book.I’m thinking she deserves a small surprise from the store when I run out for 7-up and crackers.
Maybe a pack of pink gum? That’s always a big hit around here.

Yep. and if your dad doesn’t see the sign with the price,
he may think they are only a dollar each and let you get TWO sounds in your Build-a-Bear.
and your mother may pass out when they give her the total for two little stuffed animals at the register.

the girls will have their little voices recorded in the puppy and bear’s foot forever.and they were ever so thankful.
we heard thank you about a thousand times.
and then we had thank you cards on our pillows when we went to bed that night.Hope your week is going well.

Hope the germs all leave your house soon and don’t come back! I used to keep paregoric in the house for stomach flu times. Everybody else in the family had to throw up 2 times before they got a spoonful. I only had to throw up once, because I needed to be well enough to take care of everybody else. Unfortunately you can’t buy paregoric anymore. You can buy phenergan suppositories, but I think you have to have a prescription. and I don’t know if they make them for children or not.
Oh my. Not the records we want to be breaking. Prayers that your family will be healthy and germ-free! Hurry up, Spring!
I’m glad I’m not the human who ever counted how many times one can throw up! When everyone is healthy and happy, you should take a wonderful Post Sickness picture. I really hope this latest round is IT for you all! How sweet that the girlies left Thank You notes on your pillow. Sweeties!
Glad you are continuing to enjoy Mrs. Meyers. She’ll be helping me to tidy up this morning, but not the terrible messes YOU have been dealing with! Oh my! So sorry abotu the sickness. Hope you all feel better soon.
Oh, no!!! about more sickness in your household. Yes, that is a serious amount of times to throw up in one morning. Poor girl!!
And I can imagine your surprise when the cost of the Build-a-bears was much higher than you thought. But that is so cool that the girls were so grateful for them! That says a lot!

18 is pretty impressive. I’m just saying. Like, impressive enough to get a certificate or trophy. I would totally have a trophy made for that.

What a winter to remember, in an awful way.
