Homemade Granola
This is our new favorite cereal, by far my favorite granola recipe.
(not the healthiest one I’ve ever made, but my fave!)We’ve been eating it almost everyday for breakfast with milk or Greek yogurt for the past two weeks.
It’s SO good! and your house will smell SO good while it’s cooking.Mix all the dry ingredients together in a great big bowl.
Add the melted butter. Mix well.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Stirring often…if you don’t, it will burn and/or be clumpy.Let cool. Add chocolate chips. (I use the minis)
Store in air tight container. (or zip lock bags or mason jars or..you get the point)Happy granola making.

Sounds yummy!
I love your kitchen!
Sounds yummy, though fattening. I can just about smell it from here with the brown sugar and butter
i just may have to try this! we go through SO much granola!! my kids eat it probably 5 mornings a week and it seems i’m making it all the time!
i figure it’s a whole lot better than the sugar-laden boxes of sweetness i could buy at the grocery store, so i keep on making it!
happy Thursday, Liz!
oh, and i love the kitchen picture!! wish i could see it in person!
My sis in law just sent some of the exact same a few weeks ago – it’s a popular breakfast cereal in a certain part of OH Even sells in stores. You could try using honey instead of all the brown sugar.
Love, love your kitchen! The coffee sign above the window! I have a space for it in my dining room
Want to try this. Sounds so good!
I should totally make this!! I have been thinking lately about how much I love granola and yet it is so expensive to buy. So I appreciate you sharing the recipe! I wonder if anyone else in my family would eat it?
oooh yum! Thanks for sharing! Love your hair straight and curly!
Dangerously yummy!
I just made this last night. Delicious!
Do you use old fashioned oats or quick cooking oats?

Now you can fill the space in your dining room. Also, they are half price often, so I’d wait for the sale.
Homemade granola is the best! Especially with chocolate chips!
This looks soooo good. I have never made homemade granola and totally want to. I am inspired. If it is as good as your shared cake……well yum!
Mmm, that sounds good! I always have granola on hand around here – we all just love it! And that recipe sounds wonderful!
and BEAUTIFUL kitchen!! WOW! and is that one of your sisters? Or do I just not recognize you with straight hair from that angle?!
