What made you chose BlogSpot? I am contemplating typepad, wordpress, or BlogSpot…..at the moment….still wishing I did not have to relearn how to blog at a different place. Still in denial, in a way, hoping Xanga comes up with a solution!

@purpleamethyst76 - I started a blog a while back but never really used it. When I decided to leave xanga, I started a wordpress account but wasn’t happy with the name and everything else I wanted was taken. I tried switching it and had all sorts of problems. I was getting frustrated and decided to just use the blog I already had set up. I also like all of the options with blog.( and it’s all free!
In order to customize your wordpress site you pay just like xanga…only it’s a bit more. I know a few people who have switched over to wordpress and are happy, and some who moved over to blog and are happy…I guess it’s just personal preference. I am hoping you decide to on blogspot if you change. I think that’s your best option. ;)

Were you able to move your archives to Blogspot?
Yes in wondering too what you did with your archives. I have set up a blog spot now but am moving over one old post at a time and its time consuming!!! How did you solve that problem?
