Haute Chocolate.
Perfect weather for a cup of hot…water?
This is what my girls have been drinking for two days. I think it’s gross.
they claim it’s delicious, tastes just like hot tea. not sure which tea they’ve been drinking. Ha!This is our 30 cent thrift store find. it’s a hot item in our house.
placed on a fiesta saucer…it wobbled and made me nervous around our school books.
It never spilled.I love rainy days in the fall. when I get to stay home.
we usually bake. wish I could make cupcakes that look like Haute Chocolate’s.If you live in or near West Reading, GO!
Our cousin Heidi introduced me when we were out in PA.The cupcakes are so adorable. and they come in a pretty brown box which makes them feel even more special.
and the people are so nice there….(even when you are picky about which sprinkle cupcake you want.No cupcakes here today. Sam baked bread and I, oatmeal cookies.
For as long as I can remember Sammy has wanted to be a chef when he grows up.
Today he told me he’s going to open a night time restaurant, not one that serves breakfast and lunch.
He wants to know how old he has to be.This is still going on….
….a much bigger project than we planned.
Get this…Coke really does get rust off! and very nicely I might add.I am so excited for our house to be put back together, it’s been a bit messy for the past two weeks.
I don’t mind so much when good changes are being made though.See you tomorrow for Fashion Tip Friday.
Happy Evening.

I approve of this post.
this place is in Reading??? oh my. need to look it up sometime.
Chocolate pretzels
OM NOM NOM.
I like how it’s Coke Zero you’re using. No need to waste the real deal. haha
Hot water?? *shudder
You have some thrifty little girls.;) No need to waste any $$$ on tea or chocolate mix….water works just as well.;)
I can’t wait to see the finished remodel project….but I’m sure I’m not as excited as you are.
I am now drooling over those cupcakes. I also love rainy days to bake. Today I just cooked up a storm…. a big meal for our Thurs. get 2gether with my brother and a chocolate pie for dessert. I just love it.
I have to admit, I drink a lot of hot water
often with lemon and honey – cleanses the system. I would drink waaaaay too much coffee if I didn’t make myself drink hot water instead.
That 30 cent find is lovely! Unique mug.
My husband’s colon Dr. showed us what a colon looks like in people who drink colas – black as charcoal!
Now that has to have coffee to go with it! Yay for a chef in the family – someday soon he’ll be cooking you scrumptious meals and desserts.
Yes, we’ve used coke to do the dirty job of removing rust too – works great on car parts too, corrosion of battery cables and connections, nuts n bolts, etc. And, to think we ingest that stuff
Cupcakes seem to be the rave in many bakeries, cafe’s etc. We have a local favorite too – The Faithful Little Cupcake – they look too pretty to eat. I think the best part is the icing
I love this post. It’s so darn cute.
That thrifty cup? I would’ve snatched that, too. It’s perfect!
So those cupcakes in Reading…are they worth a 40 minute drive?
Also I’m sorry I missed you that Sunday at Rachels Church, we ended up quickly leaving, trying to make a run to the hospital that afternoon yet. Love your cheerful posts!
Your girls are so cute. I love that they are enjoying their hot water
Cute cup too!
Of course our Nick used to get to go have soda treats after school with his buddy.
I think that it is so cool how Sammy likes to cook and wants to be a Chef! We have a friend whose Dad started a restaurant in a little cottage. It is very popular, decorated very eclectically in a 20′s style, and now supports the extended family. It is only opened for dinner
had to smile about the water and thinking to myself that in a few years they will laugh and remember those memories of drinking hot water while they’re drinking something fabulous their chef brother has made them
I’ve never heard of Haute Chocolate but it looks delicious, it’s probably better that I don’t live too close though so I’m not tempted
I would love to have a little chef in my family. Actually if I just had one as a neighbor to bring me home made delectable items/dinner I’d be happy too
@redladybug18 - The house next door to us is available. Then you would have that neighbor.
@fruitloops115 - Thelma! How far away from Reading are you?
@writersblock02 - Well…there is also a really good cheese place across the street, so 40 minutes for two things may not be that bad! Sorry I missed you too! We came out to see if you were still there, but Rachel said you had to run. Next time!
I think I just gained 10 pounds reading your post!!
@Elizabethmarie_1 - well if it’s rent free I’m totally coming to live up there….just think chef cooked food delivered to your door, nice neighbors, and a nice place to live, I think I’m in
yum!
and i think hearing that coke gets rust off just cured me of my long time coke love.. well, almost!
so good having you back on here more regularly.
)
@redladybug18 - Haha…I’ll let my neighbors know someone is interested in the vacant house.
