Fashion Tip Friday ~
Browsing pinterest one evening I found…..”How I Improved My Skin”.
I followed the pin to the website it originated from.
After reading the girl’s testimony, I decided to give her idea a try.I’ll admit…I was quite nervous trying out this new little remedy.
I’ve always had less {much less!} than perfect skin.
and the ingredients in this concoction put the breakout fear into this oily Italian girl.
Instead of writing out all she wrote and then give her credit….I’ll just send you over to her page.
She was very informative. and made a lot of sense.I have been experimenting for two weeks now. and I am happy so far with the results.
My skin is really soft and feels a lot different. How this works long term…I’ll let you know.My Great Grandma passed away a couple of years ago. She was 96.
Her skin was flawless.soft.and clear. She gave credit to the Olive Oil she used.

We finally have pretty white snow covering our ground…..4.5 glorious inches.
The sunrise against freshly covered branches was gorgeous early morning.
Everything so glittery and sparkly. God’s awesome creation.My kids were outside by 9am. They love the snow and chilly weather. It’s so fresh and crisp.
Most of their day was spent outdoors this Friday before Christmas.Tyler is mixing up cookie dough in the kitchen with the girls.
Peanut Butter Cookies with a Hershey Kiss. {because you just have to at Christmas time}
M&M Cookies. {red and green only of course}
Sugar Cookies. {my great grandma’s recipe, passed down to me from my mom}And since it doesn’t look like the world is coming to an end today…;)
I’m hoping to squeeze in my Grandma’s Biscotti Cookies this weekend too.Enjoy your weekend.
The last one before we celebrate our Saviour’s birthday.

I use olive oil on my skin 3 times a week. It has improved the texture of my skin tremendously! I also rub it into ky hands and feet. Running a daycare and washing my hands so many times a day has dried them out. The olive oil really helps. So jealous of your snow! It’s just cold and rainy here.
I would love to hAve clear skin!
Amazing how the world didn’t end:) guess I have to bake Xmas goodies after all:)
Should give Oil cleansing a try again. I mixed up a batch last year and must have had the balance of oils wrong because my skin became very dried out and chappy irrated. I’m guessing I don’t need much castor oil at all….bummer is that I kinda made alot that time and now it just sits there.
I do love coconut oil as a moisterizer…
I am SO glad you posted this skin care blog!!! Maybe my face will look better, but I am SO hoping my daughter will try it (the red-haired boy should, also!!!). I’ll pick up the Castor oil tomorrow and begin right away! Photos: I love the early morning red sky in the snow picture! Yay, you finally got snow! And your little beauty-cutie…what a sweet, pretty face under all that hat!
Merry Christmas to you!
Totally love that picture of your cute girl and her ladybug hat in the snow. Looks like she’s having a ton of fun!
Wow, my face is so broken out right now… I want to try this but I’m afraid too! Thanks for giving your rec… I will have to try it!
Aaaaahhhhhh! YOU HAVE SNOW!!!!! In my world, you cannot get any more perfect than snow at Christmas!! That is just super super awesome, I’m thrilled for you!
And I’m a Mary Kay girl, but I want to hop over to the link you posted and see what I can learn. Always be open minded, right?
Merry Christmas, beautiful Liz!! xoxo
