  • Two streets away from our house…..

    …lies a paved adventure.

Chipmunks cross. Birds chirp. There are flowers and trees and barns.

We ride through the forest. We ride through open fields.
We run from lions. We ride away from tigers. We do bike ballet.

It’s where the Great Tragedy of 2008 took place.

(We still check EveryTIME we go! =)

Occasionally we will meet someone along the way…..for the most part, the path is ours and ours alone.
The path goes on for miles and miles and miles….concrete now covers old railroad tracks.
Our town was one of the stops many years ago.

Sophia learned how to ride a two wheeler this past weekend.
The training wheels came off…and she was off too.  On her first try. We were so proud. =)

    Happy Wednesday.

  • I’m so glad that Sophia was able to replace her trauma (lost pink binky) with a happy memory (two wheels)!  Way to go Sophia!  :D

  • ( 8 I love the idea of a baby fish being happy to get the pink binky. I’m glad Sophia seems to have adjusted to her loss and can now ride her bike without the training wheels! She probably feels a sense of freedom! Like Cindy…how DID you do that moving picture?

  • Congrats to Sophia!!!

  • When we lived in Northern Ohio we enjoyed miles and miles of a trail that was laid on the old railroad lines…your post makes me miss it!
