I’m loving these photos again!!! You take the coolest iPhone ones! We’re 72 and sunny today. Wanna pop in for a visit? heehee. Oh, and the G.Canyon is only a couple hours or so away.

forward to that French toast…The Illinois Holocaust Museum is in Skokie; here’s a link;http://www.ilholocaustmuseum.org/You can go and just visit, but it helps to go through their education
office and try to arrange a visit when a Holocaust survivor is speaking. My kids were fascinated, listening to the
gentleman talk about his experiences growing up in Germany, and then at
Dachau. If you can get hold of them in
time, Bernotas Middle School in Crystal Lake is also having Egon Langhammer
speak. He grew up in Germany, too, but
as a German boy who then joined the Hitler Youth and, eventually, the German
Navy. I think he is speaking on April 24th. Ack!
That’s tomorrow! But call the
school. Maybe you can get over there to
see him. I saw him speak at MCC last
fall, and, although he is elderly and has some strong feelings, his
presentation was very good and gave another perspective on the time.I don’t know if you have figured out who I am. I used to belong to H.E.R.I.T.A.G.E. years ago,
and was a happy recipient of your mom’s hospitality for many of those
meetings! My own kids are grown and our
youngest, Mary, attends Faith Lutheran High School in Crystal Lake, where I
teach. There are only 70 students, sol
